FIRE STATION 39 - CASTLE PINES VILLAGE

Fire Station 39 is located in Castle Pines Village on Happy Canyon Road. The area is made up of single family homes, light commercial, several recreation centers and a PGA Golf Course, Interstate 25, Highway 85 and a large area of wildland interface & red zone.

PARAMEDIC ENGINE 39

Engine 39 operates a 2003 E-One. 39's responds to most incidents in the West Douglas Fire District and also into Castle Rock when needed.

BRUSH 39

Brush 39 is a 1999 International 4x4 Type 3 with a CAFS system. Brush 39 responds to all large brush and urban interface fires in the district and will respond county wide and nationally when needed. Brush 39 is a twin to Larkspur Engine 165. Photo by Rick L. |

TENDER 39

Tender 39 is a 1983 White and has a 3000 Gallon tank. This unit used to be in service at Station 36 and was the original Castlewood Tender. Tender 39 responds with Castle Rock, West Douglas and Jackson 105 to most of their rural structure fires. Photo by Rick L.

FORMER RESCUE 39

Former Rescue 39 was a 1993 GMC/Wheeled Coach that served as Rescue 31 & 37 before being turned into the Dive Rescue. During it's time at 39 this unit would routinely serve in Castle Rock as a reserve also. Photo by MB
